Prospero's Dream- Campaign Chapter 2, Session 1 Events Recap
- Journey on the Enola Gray, from the Perdurado system to Prospero's Dream, a major independent station in the Crucis system. (nomenaclature- systems are named for their star)
- Paid an "administrative fee" to Loshe for the removal of unwanted aspects of Pods manifest (missing passengers). Didn't pay for extra "ghost" arrival (all passengers off the books). Grenades stored in locker.
- Secured lodgings at Havana bungalows in Dockside, at the borders of Speed Alley and the industrial sectors. Union run accoms.
- Travelled to The Pleasure Dome for epic bender. Neon, bars, money, sex, drugs & zero-G grindhouse. Spent time at Stellar Burn (impressive), Jump Humpers (teamster bar) & Godmode gaming arcade/bar. Results: Frank Zake ended up with a jack port implant of dubious origin & quality (something about it being a "repo?", Elon is in the embryonic stages of a codeine addiction (can still feel that gutshot!) and O'Hara saw something (a woman? But more than that?) whose image he's finding hard to shake.
- Met back up with Einho (machine operator, Enola Gray) and travelled to a third sector- Slicktown- a quadrant for bohemians, the beautiful people, Corp accoms & cyber-punks, partly skeevy, partly gentrified.
- At Belters Karaoke, Slicktown, true to his word Einho introduced you to Maya Itsil, the kind of person who knows a person. From there to The Babushka (holographic projection of a cyber-surgeon) who said she can install Cyber-mods (cybernetic bodily enhancements/hardware) and Slickware (neural enhancements, integrated AI/software)- willing to do a total of 3 in return for travelling to Doptown to locate Dr Bakali- she was concerned about some kind of new sickness and hoping to hear his input on it.
- Maya also introduced the trio to RAM-man, a hacker and CanyonHeavy affiliate (data brokers). A price agreed for him to see if your BNW files had any flags about your status with the Corp.
- Maya & Einho say they know a guy who can get you to D-optown through the veins- the Jockey. But in exchange he wants you to run guns down into The Choke for him on the trip (purchased on your credsticks- he'll organise funds)
- Loose ends: Android head. Corp status.
- Potential sources of paying gigs so far: Union (Einho, Hopper, Loshe), the Babushka, CanyonHeavy (RAM-man) also indicated they sometimes hire muscle when the virtual and physical connect.
